Phil got me to read Gardner Botsford's autobiography, A Life of Privilege, Mostly. It might be a timely read for you for many reasons, Lois. (Perhaps you've read it already.) Meant to log on two days ago that Dad would have been 91 -- an age when your mother was going quite strong! Cold as hell here. Warm and comfortable for Dean, but his house-hunting seems to have stalled for now.
Hi Lois! cool to read your posts and hear what you're doing. allison stouffer and her boyfriend, brandon, just arrived a few hours ago and are staying with us through the inauguration. we spoke of you tonight so just wanted to see where you are. settle in and enjoy! love from cold, obama-crazed DC! Lois! Enjoy transitting the Panama Canal...eager to hear about your Curacao adventures! Today as we cheer on the Eagles we have a heat wave in the low 30s. Enjoy your day and the sun especially! Hopefully your personal trainer will give you the day off!
Too bad you couldn't take time to do some fishing on Gatun Lake. Supposed to be some of the best bass fishing in the world. Must be all that flooded rain forest...
Moved to Mount Gretna - a Chautauqua town - Involved in enjoying life, writing, and hosting friends at Basecamp210 here in the civilized woods (see mtgretna.com.
