Now in the Arabian Sea, just about to leave the coastal waters of Oman and head into the waters bordered by Yemen and Somalia. Passed what looked like a patrol boat some miles back. Otherwise only a lonely freighter on the horizon, headed the opposite direction. We have several sea days until we reach Aquaba, Jordan. There I'm on a tour to the ancient city of Petra, what I've heard is a long hot walk but a worthwhile venture.

Dear Lois,
Your days of travel are winding down. Before you know it, you will be back in the USA. I have really enjoyed "following" you around the world. Even for a far away observer, it has been beyond wonderful. Both Tom and I look forward to hearing about your adventures in person!
Thank you so much for remembering me on my birthday with the beautiful card and note and the E-Mail. It was so sweet of you to think of me with all that you have going on! I am having a great day with warm sunshine and an opportunity to work in the flower beds at last. I started my celebration on Friday when Craig and family, Charissa and family and my brother's oldest daughter and husband came for the weekend. We had a delightful time. Tonight Tom is taking me to a new restaurant in Chambersburg.
We will be thinking of you as you continue to have an experience of a lifetime!

Lois! Hope you are enjoying your sail and some deck time outside your room until the next ports. Well, spring is still trying to happen. Well, as I have said before, you dodged an unkind winter and just last Sunday a few tornadoes in York and Lancaster Counties. Sail on and enjoy your last few weeks..time flies!!

Joe the “Plumber” doesn’t know that card check is already the law. Video of Joe in Harrisburg, PA today. Prior to this video, off camera, he admits he hasn’t read the Employee Free Choice bill, yet he comes to Pennsylvania to fight against workers’ rights.
